Summary

Borrelli + Partners provided architectural services for the DeLand Municipal Airport General Aviation Terminal. The terminal functions as a transient aviators’ reception facility, operations center, common area, and also includes a restaurant facility and a federal facility to accommodate the U.S. Customs service.

This terminal area includes substantial apron improvements to accommodate the southern expansion of the air side. This project also includes the development of public parking to serve tenant aircraft owners, transient pilots, and other people needing to visit the airport. The terminal building plan includes a significant canopy extending out over a portion of the apron providing weather protection for transient aircraft that are actively embarking or debarking passengers and crew.
