Borrelli + Partners was commissioned by UCF to design the expansion to the Recreation and Wellness Center. The expansion provides enhanced program opportunities and much needed additional space for cardio and fitness activities.

Brightline Orlando Station
Located in the Intermodal Terminal Facility at the Orlando International Airport, the new state-of-the-art __Brightline Orlando Station__ connects two of the fastest growing regions in the state: Central and South Florida. The beautiful station features a spacious and inviting lounge for travelers equipped with charging stations, TVs, and Wi-Fi. The 37,350 SF station also features a sit-down bar, a market store, a children’s play area, meeting rooms, self-service kiosks, luggage checks, turnstiles, and ticket purchasing stations.

Brightline Vehicle Maintenance Facility
The Brightline Trains 135,805-square-foot Vehicle Maintenance Facility features a maintenance building the length of two football fields, a truck shop, a 25-foot-deep drop table, a three-story parts warehouse, a wheel true facility, a train wash facility, and two fueling islands.

The repurposing of Grand Avenue provides an opportunity to relocate and expand on youth programming for the Holden Heights neighborhood. The Grand Avenue Neighborhood Center serves as a venue to host programs that strengthen the neighborhood fabric as well as enhancing the integrity of the residential character of Holden Heights, Parramore, and downtown Orlando.

UNF Student Wellness Complex
The new Student Wellness Complex includes a three-court gymnasium, elevated jogging track, indoor climbing and bouldering wall, group exercise studios for spinning and yoga, group cardio space, group strength training, men’s and women’s locker facilities, physical education, recreation, fitness and health promotion departmental offices.
