Brightline Station Receives ABC of Central Florida's Project of the Year Award

Congratulations to Gomez Construction Company and project teams for receiving both the Eagle Award and Project of the Year by Associated Builders and Contractors of Central Florida for the Brightline Trains Station!

The Brightline station spans 37,350 SF in the heart of the Orlando International Airport's 80,000 SF Intermodal Terminal Facility adjacent to Terminal C. This is the only intercity passenger rail station of its kind to be located in a U.S. airport and stands three-stories tall, including a 72,000 square feet platform area, making it the company’s largest train station. Borrelli + Partners was selected in collaboration with Big Time Design to prepare construction documents for the new train station and bring Brightline's vision to life. The beautiful station features a spacious and inviting lounge for travelers equipped with charging stations, TVs, and Wi-Fi. The station also features a sit-down bar, a market store, a children’s play area, meeting rooms, self-service kiosks, luggage checks, turnstiles, and ticket purchasing stations.
