Miami Fire Station #3, Fire Department Administrative Center, and Credit Union

The program study established the need for the renovation and expansion of the existing Apparatus Maintenance Garage and Fire Station No. 3 facilities, the construction of a new three-story, 35,000 square foot Fire Department Administrative Center and a 10,000 square foot facility for the city’s Firemen Credit Union.

Due to the importance of maintaining the on-going operations of both the existing Fire Garage and Fire Station, a two phase construction schedule was implemented, requiring the separation of the project into two distinct geographic areas within the site.

Construction of a new storage/ supply, Credit Union and administration center, together with associated parking, was planned as Phase I. Phase II scope of work included the expansion and reconstruction of the existing Fire Garage and Fire Station No. 3.
