Mount Dora Resource & Recreation Center Breaks Ground!

The B+P Team joined City officials, community members, and project partners to celebrate a major milestone — the official groundbreaking of the 31,000 square-foot Mount Dora Resource and Recreation Center! The event marked the beginning of construction for a long-anticipated facility. The resource center's exterior incorporates geometric patterns inspired by nature and African art, with the interior's Earth tones echoing exterior motifs.

The center will serve as a central hub for youth programs, fitness, technology access, and community events. City leaders spoke about the center's significance in revitalizing the community and creating new opportunities and a safe space for generations to come. With shovels in the ground and a clear vision ahead, the June 13 ceremony was more than symbolic — it was the first real step in turning a promise into a place!
