Casselberry Celebrates Grand Opening of Wheels Park East

The City of Casselberry has officially opened Wheels Park East, the first phase of its state-of-the-art skate and bike park. The East side features a toddler-friendly Tiny Town, a pump track for ages 5–12, an inclusive playground, and shaded picnic areas—all designed to promote active, all-ages recreation.

Hundreds attended the grand opening, which included pro rider demos, music, food vendors, and family-friendly fun.

Wheels Park West, opening Saturday, July 26, will offer over 25,000 sq ft of skateable terrain including: a massive Snake Run and Intermediate Bowl, 15,000 sq ft Street Course, Beginner Zone, ceremonial lawn, pavilion, and restrooms.

The park spans 40,000 sq ft over 10 acres and was made possible through the City’s 2020 bond referendum. Designed by Team Pain Skateparks and developed by Wharton-Smith with Borrelli + Partners being the landscape architect, it’s set to become a hub for recreation, events, and community connection.
